Alden Bridge features large swimming pools and water fun parks plus other features like a jogging track circling a pond and a butterfly garden. Scenic Lakeside Park overlooks Bear Branch Reservoir. There are also several smaller parks and tot lots close to homes and neighborhoods.
Alden Bridge features two village shopping centers – Alden Bridge Village Center including a Kroger Signature store and Walgreens drug store, plus Windvale Village Center anchored by a Randalls store. Both centers include restaurants like Rico’s Mexican Café and Benton’s Bistro in Alden Bridge, and Shogun Japanese Grill & Sushi Bar at Windvale. Shops, banks, service stations, professional offices, fast food restaurants and neighborhood services are also featured at both centers.
Village facts
This Village is one of the largest in The Woodlands and is bordered by FM 2978
and FM 1488. There are over 18,000 residents who call Alden Bridge home, and approximately 6,240 homes. When this Village opened in 1994, Roger Galatas was the president of the Woodlands Operating Company. This area was named for his hometown of Alden Bridge, Louisiana.
